About Us

9th St Albans Scouts has been bringing #skillsforlife to young people in St Albans for 100 years (1924 – 2024).

This is all made possible by our amazing volunteer leaders. Looking to volunteer – check out the Volunteering area.

We are based in a single story scout hut on Lemsford Road, although the entrance is actually on Sandpit Lane. We have limit parking in front of the hut which is usually reserved for leaders running the various section activities.

Alongside our hut we have a grassy area which is often used for activities during fairer weather, and a fire pit area for campfire activities such as fire lighting, outdoor cooking and of course camp fire singing.
